I lucked out and have a friend with the 150 FASS who is droppin in a 12v into his 01. I just got done robbing his truck of the FASS and have a few questions.

My truck being a 98.5 has a different style fuel filter housing which I have already taken off along with the stock lp. I see where the FASS wiringharness plugs into the 2pin pigtail harness, but the Question is At the top of my FF housing, there is 2 12ga wires comming from out of the top of the housing. A red and Black to be exact that lead to a larger 2 pin connector on the side of the block. The next Question is the Water in fuel light at the bottom of the Stock FF housing. Do i need to jump these Wires? Or will all work out good?

 

if you jump the wires together the WIF light should be on. if left unplugged the light should stay off.

Its been a while since i've forgot to plug that WIF plug back in after a filter change but i think It does light up if left unplugged. But like i said, Its been a long time.

 

the wires at the top of the filter housing are for your fuel filter, do not splice those wires!!!!
