Loudest Exhaust?
Who can answer this question? Short of puttin a stack through the hood, what's the loudest, most obnoxious, **** the neighboors off, deafening exhaust setup you can put on a 2001 HO?

! 2am is nice time to come rumblin into my court
! theres pics of it on my profile. i havent heard a louder one yet.

Yeah, but for some reason I've noticed the common rails are louder than the 2nd gens. It's just got the muffler delete in it right now with the resonator MIA. But as soon as I get done with this deployment there's many mods on the way. Nice pics by the way.
ah my ex had a 2nd gen and it was pretty obnoxious
dont thinkit was a full straight pipe though, it was a a muffler delete. but was so loud. mine is louder than his was but i have a true straight pipe. i think if you put a true straight on a 2nd gen it would be plenty louud. 4 inch has a higher pitched growl to it, thats the best description i culd tink of sry, at least at high rpm it has a higher toned growl than a 5" would. low rpm or after tc lockup it is a deep throated growl, i call it the 55 rumble becuz it is the coolest friking sound in the world and it like shakes the cab at tc lockup. a 5" sounds deeper most times. more like a big rig than a big tractor
. A 5" would also aid more in helping lower egt's, any exhaust will aid but the 4" and 5" seem to be the best from what ive heard, I love my 4". for stacks im gettin 4" under the bed, 5" dual stacks. 4" under bed seems popular from what ive heard, and the most popullar stack sizesprobly ar 5", 6", 7". 7's are insane
the 2nd gen motors are louder the 3rd gens so i bet if u strait piped it it would be louder than mine. any way hope this helps. oh btw my exhaust was free. i made it. ttyl

outstanding, that's what I was leaning towards anyway, but can you get a 5" downpipe for a stock turbo?
