Shoot... Just my 3" inch straight pipe and a heavy foot can **** people off in town...

But I got to admit the larger the pipe the louder it does get...

You want loud? Try running just a downpipe. When I bought my exhaust I wanted to see how it sounded with just the 3.5 DP. HOLY FRICKIN CRAP MAN! I couldn't hear nothing in the cab! want to talk about drone!

In all seriousness loudest is probably going to be stacks though I prefer my 4" straight. Its as loud as my buddys 99 PS with a 5". That and the turbo sounds really good!

**** im running a 4 inch downpipe to a 4in straight pipe exhaust, no resonator or muffler, completely straight piped, its loud as f**** gotten pulled over twice for decibel breaking, combined with 150 hp injectors and the edge juice, itll annoy neighbors and anyone else outside the truck, inside aint too bad but outside, you cant hear yourself think.

if your blowing alot of smoke, even on a dd then i think stacks are needed. that way you arent blowing smoke into peoples faces all day long on the way to work.

i dont know about that with stacks it blows over the tailgate and right into the front of the car behind them so either way your getting smoke in the face

stacks put the noise out of peoples vehicles also...ever sat right next to a 5" straight when it started up...heaven forbid they are gunning it cause you'll go def for a good 5 minutes...im gonna run stacks just cause it puts the smoke out of peoples cars...living a mile high makes the truck pretty damn smokey

im not ragging on stacks well maybe a little anyway just seems a waste to cut a good bed if stacks are your thing than go for it and if you do go with stacks size does matter
