Exactly. 3k, I don't quite have yet. But I might be able to get injectors and a VB to hold me over for a while to get a bit more oomph. I don't baby it but am not into running it hard enough to break stuff either (hopefully). Just want to fill in the weak spots throughout the powerband and enjoy it for a while.

Lookin at your signature, a few things you may want to look at before anythng else. GUAGES, especially fuel pressure and Pyro. You need them before you much of any playin unless you already have them and they're just not listed. The other thing i would check is the exhaust manifold. If it is the stock model would bet it is cracked on the bottom side and your losin boost through it if it is. Pretty much ever factory manifold has done this if they are not changed out. It's hard to see unless it splits wide open the way mine did but it's usually right in the middle portion on the bottom side where they let go at. It will be small crack to look at but as it builds pressure under boost it opens up.

Thanks again, Uncle Bubba.. I do have an FP guage but the other 3 will be installed before any more fuel goes in - found a great price - 235 bucks for the pillar and all 3 guages plus goodies to make them work.

One the exhaust manifold - If I had a boost guage, could I tell I have a boost leak from the guage? I figure right now I should be around 20-22 lbs. ???

Not really because if it's not to big yet the Turbo will just keep pumpin to compensate for the loss. But doin this is burning extra fuel and stealing power from the rest of the truck. In my case, ya that's how I found it was because I couldn't hold presure even with my foot planted. But once I pulled the manifold off I saw that even without pressure I had a 1/4 inch wide crack from engine side to turbo side. The only thing holdin it together was the bolts. But that was an extreme case. Typically they are just hairline cracks when not under pressure.

But the determining factor, for me at least, will be to find out how much more mpgs and less EGTs the DDPs actually give over RVs.

Mike.
The DDP's maybe better,I won't go against Uncle Bubba, but if you are going to get DDP's go for the 100hp sticks,my 275s made more power, less smoke than the DDP's 75hps I tried.
DDP will let you try them, and you can return them no questions asked, one of the best places to deal with.
(I bought mine direct, but Luke will save ya a couple bucks)
