Injectors help!
Ive been looking at some quick ways to gain some good hp on an 2001 6 speed 24-valve with 270k miles and injectors seem to be the way to go...will i have to do any major mods to the injection pump or head studs if im going for 100 hp injectors? I want to gain power the right way and i know its gonna cost money. Thanks

Fuel pressure is vital, without the ability to monitor you run the risk of burning out the VP. I have a FASS lift pump supplying my VP. With 1/2 fuel lines I have a XDP quick connect fitting that my fuel pressure gauge it hooked into. I usually run 19 at idle and 18 psi driving down the road. in addition to changing injectors I would also upgrade the lift pump for a piece of mind.

I would stay away from airdog, I went with the setup in my sig. The kit comes with 1/2 inch fuel lines and all the connections you need to make it run. The 95 GPH according to FASS will support up to 600hp. It takes about 2 hours to install worst part is disconnecting the old fuel line from the tank.

stock feed line can still carry the fuel.
stock return line never gets removed even with aftermarket 1/2" fuel lines you still retain the stock return line as the vp44 still needs to return fuel for cooling purposes.
I run 1/2" draw straw, fuel line, and air-separation/pressure regulation return line on my rig.
and a mechanical fuel pressure gauge on the dash...
my lift pump is a 150GPH air/fuel & water/fuel separation + fuel filtration system comparable to the fass titanium system.
you don't need all that fancy stuff, but you do need at least a 95GPH lift pump to run higher than stock power.
