Default TST Competition Choke

I talked to TST the otherday about the surging/choking/ missfire i've had with the box. They say that all PM3's with the comp upgrade will kick on the higher settings. Only thing is mine does it on the lower ones too. They informed me that the pm3 was designed for stock injectors and since i'm running bigger sticks that the vp is running out of fuel to shoot in. I guess i'm firing blanks. With the smarty taken out all the way it still surges but doesnt missfire. What do yall think about this info? I think i need a bigger pump..... I also thought that maybe one of my injectors wasnt closing all the way or something. I had these nozzles on a diff body once the springs were weak as crap and the truck could hardly idle. I got a friend selling his dragonflow 250's. I thought about trying them out and seeing if TST is tellin the truth. If not, Then i'll just get some Stack injectors with a monster.

Well, did you figure something out?...
just got the truck back togahter from the timing cover leaking....Went to borrow a friends Regular PM3 and he diddn't have it on him at the time so i'll do that tonite. heres the list of ideas

MAP sensor
Injectors
Box itself
VP weak or not big enough

I have good fuel pressure supplying the VP but heard a few ppl on cumminsforum say theirs was weak from day one bla bla. IDK but its really annoying. I have smarty on 5 now and TST even on 4 is so rough and choppy. I'll find out alot more this weekend. and No Codes other than ECM fueling paramaters error but then says normal with non stock software.

I'm 95% sure its the VP. I put the TST comp on a friends truck with the same sticks as mine, and my smarty in his truck, and hes also got the Edge EZ so i ran his truck on sw#8. all it did was make his truck haul *****. I tried his regular TST pm3 in mine and it still was missing. when we were done i ran the smarty on mine on 8 and when she spooled....it was the most horrible sound i've ever heard. IDK how to imitate it or what to compare it to. i pulled off the hwy right there and set it back down to 3 and smarty 3 tst 4 its missing. Weak VP has to be it. I just got it in Jan so i'll swap it out for a new one tomorrow hopefully.
