Default Adrenaline Has No Fuel Pressure Gauge!?! And Silverline Exhaust Questions.

Somebody PLEASE help me make a decision since I'm evidently incapable of making it myself!

SO... I've put two posts in the "Price Request" section and have been contacted by a LOT of GREAT site sponsers. Everyone has been REALLY REALLY friendly AND helpful. So again, THANKS to all the site sponsers who've been giving me pricing.

I THOUGHT I had my mind made up about an exhaust, and have had my finger on the trigger for SEVERAL weeks now. Then I decided to sell my Edge Hot Juice and buy an adrenaline. THEN I found out that Quadzilla has STOPPED SHIPPING FUEL PRESSURE SENDING UNITS WITH THE ADRENALINE!!!!!! I have a FASS, but monitoring fuel pressure is still CRITICAL to me. I cannot afford to lose a VP44 just b/c I wasn't monitoring fuel pressure (If the FASS were to crap out or something).

so I can buy the adrenaline, and would LOVE to have it but I can't be without fuel pressure monitoring. I called Quadzilla and they basically said "keep calling back, and we'll tell you whether we've solved the problem or not". Well... to me, that's not a great way to resolve the issue. I really don't want to install an analog gauge when the adrenaline SHOULD already be doing that job (or will in the "?near?" future).

I could just add RV275's to my current setup and have about the same output as the adrenaline, but that's $300... where if I sell my edge, I can buy the adrenaline for about $50 (I've got the Edge box sold for $450, and I can get adrenaline for $500 shipped). Of course it'll cost me about $200 for an analog fuel pressure gauge, so I guess it's about even. I just don't want the analong gauge when the quadzilla has the capability already (they just haven't found a sending unit that works yet.).

I'm not sure there's a solution here that I'll be happy with, I just wanted to throw my thoughts out and see what you guys thought.

On the exhaust note, I'm pretty much committed to the silverline 4" T-409 kit. I've sourced it for $413 shipped. It has welded hangers which was important to me, and is only about $50 more than most of the quality aluminized kits I've found. It also has a stainless muffler, and a 5" dual wall tip. Seems to be the best road for me to take. Any thoughts on that are also welcome.

Long story short...
This is how I feel now:
This is how I WANT to feel:

Adrenalin has the gauge on the control pod right? just checking. you should definitely go with the commander because only seeing one gauge at a time (the pod only shows one at a time)
with the commander you can get all sorts of tunes on there switch on the fly and show four gauges at once. I kind of wish I still had mine but without a high performance module it was kind of useless to me.

On the exhaust. Most people I know and read about have removed the silverline muffler because it wasn't very loud. Just something to keep in mind

they stopped shipping the sender with the adrenaline because they were selling the adrenalin faster than they could get FP senders , it comes with a card to mail in to get your sender separate

yeah, the pod only shows one at a time, but "safety" features keep you from having to pay too close attention to what's going on. Defuel for EGT's over a certain temp, etc...

The dude I spoke to yesterday didn't indicate that there would be a card with the adrenaline. He said that they had lowered the MSRP to reflect the lack of a sender and that I should just call periodically to find out when they had one available for purchase.

I have also been checking out the Pulse Monitor gauge for the Adrenaline that can be purchased seperately or with the unit.It looks like a good way to go,since you can have more control and watch more parameters instead of just one like you get with the POD.I had my fuel pressure sending unit within a week after registering online with the card I got with my Adrenaline

they stopped acyying the fuel pressure gauge because they couldent get them for and affordable price however they should be able to tell u a place to order it from and a part # for it and its under 60 bucks (i think) everyone who preorded the adraline got a fp gauge because thats what quad originaly said it would have with the kit, then he revised it because of cost and warrenty on them.

I will try and get an answer but i believe the new pulse will read it, but just having the recon it will not, i am not totally sure on this, like i said i will try and get an answer to it.

Andyman i was gonna mention this to you but i for got, i can get a nice mount to put in the little cubby on the right of the dash to hold a FP gauge, this is what im gonna do with mine just for added security. Trust me for the trade offs of the adrenaline, having one analog gauge will be worth it, not to mention the peace of mind you will get knowing your Fuel PSI is dead on.
