Default Edge Ez on stock clutch

I am wanting to know how my stock clutch with 218k on it will hold up to an edge ez box cause I am sick of my truck feeling under powered its got a Dynomax 4" exhaust and a napa bhaf, I have a airdog for it but haven't had the time to put it on, and how much does unhooking the map senor hurt it, ive herd cylinder washing but i like the smoke on occasion. I don't really have the money to put a clutch in anytime soon so i need a setup that will give me power and some smoke on a tight budget, and my truck is a HO so how will the pump do with the new fuel pressure and strain? any input is appreciated

edge ez is just a timing box...might barely give some bottom end grunt and better fuel economy, but that's about it...not going to do much for power.

edge comp would do more for power, but HO pump will severely limit that...

as for your sig saying:
hopefully a set of BD 150's and a tst pm3 next (get 500 out of HO pump and hx35 )"

that's NEVER going to happen (at least not without a very healthy shot of nitrous)

you need like 7x.014 (250+hp) injectors and at least a 62/71/14 or compounds to pull off 500hp with a HO pump.

an SO pump can do it with 7x.010's (150+hp) and a 62/71/14 or 63/68/14 or compounds.

to kinda prove my point: I did 576/1285 with 6x.013 (competition 200hp+ close equiv of 7x.012s) and S300/S400 compounds with a quadzilla adrenaline w/pulse on a SO pump, and my pump was running out of fuel with a solid 16-20psi input pressure...

500hp is just my shootin the moon goal im not gunna do it tommarow, i just want to puff some clouds and make some powerstroke owners jelouis for under the 650 bucks a smarty or tst is, and not ****** rig my truck all up or hurt it, along with that i need to save my clutch till i can afford the 1000 dollar cost of a sbc dd.

smarty isn't the best for power...need wiretap fueling for that...

might be able to find one used for under that in the cumminsforum classifieds.

all the stuff you listed is non wiretap and will not much much if any power...

#3 and #4 are the best out of the choices you gave.

i would lean more towards #4.

and your clutch should hold ok to those...mine held up to wiretap fueling for a short while before it started slipping...canbus could never get it to slip.

I think im gunna go with the mvp and then when i get a dual disk put a tst pm3 on top of it,

Long term goal
Air mods
1. 3 peice manifold
2.hx40 over ht3b twins
3. CPP intake horn
4. intercooler boots and clamps

Fuel
1. Airdog 165
2. blue chip HO pump
3. cpp 6x.013 injectors
4.tst powermax 3
5.ts mvp

Think thats enough for 500 at the wheels?

Yep... what I changed will get you 500 at the wheels...

want 600+ at the wheels than changes go as follows:

S362/S475
Weston's 6x.013s

rest stays the same.

if you really want to milk it you can do an intake horn and exhaust manifold at this point, but they really aren't necessary till you are trying to squeeze every last hp out of the injection pump...
