It plugs into the intake area of the cylinder head so I would assume that it gets the reading from pressure in the intake valley of the head and sends all that info to the PCM/ECM etc.The pigtale that plugs between the factory connectors must go through the quad and act as a boost fooler and allow quad guages to give accurate boost readings as well.

 

Its reading , But is slow to respond my Mech will be on 5 before the pod shows 1 , Got the TT hooked up 130-140 is about what it runs

 

sounds like it is working good then. mine reads slow also compared to the gauge.
i have my twins coming next week so we will see how well she will run then

we will be racing at the track this weekend so i will have some before and after results
