Default Turbo/Smarty Question

After reading another thread here I have a new idea of what I need in life. I didn't realize that the Smarty would speed the spool up process up so much. So I need low end power somethin awfull in this truck for pullin heavy trailers and that has kept me from wantin to go to a bigger turbo. I want to get rid of the heat and get some top end also but it wasn't worth losin the bottom end for me.

So if I go to a bigger trubo and use the Smarty to compensate for the spool up will this work or am I lookin at this as bein to simple.

I would say stack the Smarty with the Comp or get an Adrenaline. A 62/12 turbo would make a nice combo.

I already have the Drag Comp that I'm sure I'll keep it if I do this. I was gettin close to pullin the hammer on the Adreneline but if the Smarty will stir up a bigger turbo that fast then it seems to be what I'm lookin for. The turbo will end up being whatever I can find used. Seems to be a good amount of them comin on the market lately and a lot easier on my poor man's budget then the new ones. Found a Super B for $800 today and wish I were ready to buy, I'd have it sittin here.

The Smarty does help with spool up. It gives a whole lot more bottom end! You will love it with the drag comp. I ran that stack quite a while. I even tried the tst pm3 stacked with the smarty but went right back to the drag comp smarty. Now I know you don't want to hear this but, I'm gonna say it anyways. Sell the drag comp and talk to Luke. The Adrenaline is a pretty sweet deal. You have all you want as far as tunes and more to come!!!!

But does the Adrenaline give the same quick spool up as the Smarty. That's my deciding factor here. This Comp packs a hell of a punch once your rollin but gettin 30,000 to start rollin especially when your off road on un-even terrain is it's serious shortfall.

As of right now I would say the smarty still has a slight edge in bottom end but the Adrenaline is right there and continues on with power. The smarty just doesn't have anywhere close to the same power output that the adrenaline has. But like you say you already have the comp and stacking that with the smarty is a great stack. It's really tough to make a call for someone else. It's all opinion's. And some just aren't worth much

On the CF theres alot of posts about adrenaline problems. I love my smarty TST Comp stack and refuse to give either up but from what i hear the Adrenaline is quite the box. Smarty low end, Edge comp top end all for the price of one or the other. I just like to have the stack than just one thing. I also Just purchased a Turbo from River City Turbo. its a 62/14. Its supposed to be very friendly street/towing. I was also told that when i'm loaded down is when the turbo's really going to shine.
