Default injectors and turbo

i have a 2000 cummins 5spd SB clutch, edge comp drag, smarty, raptor 150, cold air, pusher intake, stock turbo and injectors. edge CS for gauges. i was wondering what a good turbo to run is and injectors. would like to make 450hp and not have crazy egt.

100 hp sticks and an S300 series turbo would be a good combo.

x2 on the s300 (62-64mm). 62 with 100 sticks and 64 with 150's.

what should i do first?? say i cant drop 1500 in a turbo but i can spend 500-600 on injectors. say what are a good set of 150.

Would you consider compounds? I dont know if it's possible to re-use the existing turbo too. Maybe someone will chime in with info on that. Perhaps a kit exists, so we don't have to do custom fabrication. I'm looking for that info as well. If I can get more info, I'll let you know. Some guys are running compounds and I've read real good things about them.

im thinking injectors first. a set of 150hp should do for now just gotta keep an eye on my EGT

I did 150's with a boost fooler and the truck did great until I added the quadzilla...Just watch your parameters (EGT, trans temp, boost) and you should be ok.

If you only want 450 id look into 85-120 hp injectors. And then go with a 62mm turbo like a killer b from bd diesel, phatshaft from IIS, or Silver and Super phat shaft 62 turbos. I had a set up very similar to yours a number of years ago. With 100's, Edge Juice, Air Dog, and a Super Phat Shaft 62 did right about 450-460 with controlable egts
