Default high EGT after turbo & 125 sticks

Hello I'm new to this thread and farily new to diesels as far as performance goes. I recently purchased a package deal from Diesel Auto Power that included 125 horse sticks and a II Phatshat 62 64 12 turbo. I instaled the Injectors myself and ran the truck with the stock turbo, and my EGT were only slightly elevated (under full go they got to 1450 normaly they stand at 1350-1400). The next Morning I went out and swaped out the turbo. Unfortunatly I had recived a call from work saying I needed to go in, Luckly I had just removed the old turbo so i franticly bolted the new one up making sure to add oil to the feed line and spin the impeller so the bearing was properly lubed prior to starting. all of the lines were corrected properly and so far no leaks However I didnt get to fully assemble my exhaust and just have the downpipe then about a foot gap then the exhaust.
On my ride into work I was scared watching my Pyo stand fast at 1000 degrees at 70 mph where with the old turbo it normaly hovered around 450-600 at the same load. What could cause this I realize that the newer larger turbo could cause higher EGT under load untill it spools but it was reading a steady 5 psi just abnormaly hot EGT while crusing. I didnt think that it would have this adverse affect this early could it be the lack of exhaust? or did I just jack something up? and help would be greatly appreciated! Oh and as far as Mods I have the aformentioned Phatshaft 62, 125 horse sticks, Quadzilla 4k box with no downloaded tunes just what I could change from the factory, AFE intake banks big ram intake and 3.5" tube.

WOW I didnt expect my EGT's to skyrocket like that from this swap! I suppose I need to re-tune my Addrenaline what else can I do to cool my EGT? I understand I could do water meth inj and a new intercooler but I dont like my EGT's that high just cruzing. Ill fix my exhaust tonight and get some new numbers that will hopefully make me forget the entire high EGT thing

Ok I got a bit more pedal time and here are some more numbers. EGT's are down to normalish ranges 600-800 deg which I can live with happily boost is 43 lbs peak at just below 1400 deg which makes sense to me higher EGT under light load and lower at high boost which makes me feel allot better about it. Boost at cruising speed is still lower than what some said they had on here its around 5 lbs at 60-70 mph. It pulls so nice now and by nice I mean HARD!!!!! Im still puzzled by the extra high EGT's but I think it had something to do with that being its first go it needed to break in a bit and that somehow increased the EGT's IDK if thats possible but thats what Im sticking to!

As far as the turbo and injectors they are SWEET! It pulls allot harder and for a longer duration as in higher in the power band and it lights about as early as the factory turbo maybe just a bit later but just has so much more and better power band now

Thanks allot to all I hope to learn allot here and share what little I know! Ha Ha

Why do you give 3 numbers for your Turbo? 62/65/14?

Wanna be Fast, your 3-5lb boost and 600-700 degrees at cruising resembles my numbers also. And your WOT boost and temps are slightly higher than mine, although you have have 125 injectors as opposed to my 100s. Im guessing those are normal readings. Welcome to the site!
