Would like to have ideas on tuning on my trucks at home that I can do by myself with small or no cost that add power or mileage! Just adjusted the waste gate on my 99 cummins and the additional boost helps with throttle response a lot and pulling hills with a load also is helped my having to shift. Running a high of 38 psi with this mod

 

Cheap things at home, eh? You could "swiss cheese" your air box to allow more flow. A BHAF will allow better breathing, a rather cheap intake mod. If you have a way to cut exhaust pipe, you could cut out the muffler and add a piece of pipe in its place. Then use Torc-Tite exhaust clamps to seal and keep the replacement pipe in place.
