Default Edge / FASS fuel sensor help

I am currently installing an edge juice CTS and FASS 150 titanium to the truck in my signature. I have a question regarding edge’s fuel pressure sensor and how it will attach to the fuel line right at VP44. The edge’s sensor is meant to work with the stock banjo bolt but the FASS system eliminates the banjo bolt at the VP44, it uses an adapter and 90 degree elbow. Supposedly for better flow. With that in place, I can’t add my fuel pressure sensor as there’s no place to attach it. I think I need to either find a T or something similar. Could I find one at Lowes or home depot or elsewhere or do I need to do something different?

If your fass has 3/8 hose get this Push on 90 Degree 06 JIC fitting tapped or if its 1/2 get this push lock If you have a local hydraulic shop they might have something very similar in stock

Hey Thanks for the info. My new FASS 150 kit has 3/8 lines. I'm unsure what to do regarding the sensor hookup because the push on 90 degree 3/8 tee that is tapped for a fuel pressure sensor has a warning that reads:

"Due to the small size of these fitting there are only two - three threads for the pressure port. The part being attached to it may need to be modified or ground slightly to prevent blockage in the fuel path (threading in too far)".

Yikes! That is concerning. Certainly don’t want to block the fuel path. Now if I had ½ lines (which I do not), the bigger elbow that you mentioned in your post would be fine to use and doesn’t have that warning. Too bad about my fuel line size. That would have done the trick for sure.

I did see this though, Push Lock Fuel Pressure Tee 1/2", it is not a 90 degree elbow - it’s a tee that’s tapped. No disclaimer warning like the elbow though. However, this would mean I’d have to splice the fuel line right before the VP44. Probably not ideal, but a possibility I suppose.

Hmm….I think I may call Vulcan and see what they can recommend. In the meantime, should anyone have any suggestions or comments (good bad or indifferent) just yell! Thanks guys.

Vulcan is wanting you to be aware of the possibility of blocking flow and to save themselves from buying injection pumps.

Hey thanks man. I called them. It is a bit unclear with that 3/8 elbow. I didn't have a good feeling about that. That said, I might just go with that T that have. I'll mount it right by the vp44. Good enuff. I can always revisit it if I'm not happy or come up with another solution. Thanks again.

You shouldn't have any problems with it. But still check how far the sensor threads in before installing it.

The T worked well. No issues with the threads. Plenty of clearance. Worked great. Thanks again!
