Default Stacking chips?

hey guys, i found a really good deal on a Hypertech power programmer and was wondering if i could stack it with my Edge EZ. i know the Hypertech doesn't provide the power like a smarty but with how cheap it is, a 30 or 40 hp gain would be great for the money. let me know if it is possible to stack with my edge EZ? Thanks

You have to be able to run one module in fueling mode only without added timing while the other adds fuel and timing. IIRC the edge ez has added timing as I am sure the hypertech does to. If you can just get the hypertech to just add fuel without timing you should be able to.

Will there be any kind of gain from it, I have no idea.

I have an Edge Comp stacked with my Hypertech right now, they run great together. I run my Edge on 3x5 and Hypertech on level 3. Lots of power and you can leave people in a huge cloud! Just watch your EGT's when romping on it.

there is no point...both do essentially the same thing...if you want something to stack with your edge ez, get a TST Comp...

Why is it not recommended? I didnt think it would make a difference but thought I would try it. I was surprised with the results.
