it can be with an edge insight monitor
CONTROL SMARTY’S POWER-ON-DEMAND FEATURE USING YOUR EDGE INSIGHT!

Your Dodge is tuned with Smarty, but how are you monitoring your vital engine parameters? Tuning your Dodge and not running an Insight monitor is like taking a knife to a gun fight. The Edge Insight beats any analog gauge system or other digital monitors hands down when it comes to features, monitoring, and maintenance. With our new software update, Smarty users can now control their Power-On-Demand from the Insight monitor. You have a lot of money invested in your Dodge you deserve the best. You deserve Edge!

• Use the Insight to change the Power-On Demand settings of your Smarty programmer with a touch of a button
• If your truck is tuned by Smarty, simply connect the Insight to your OBDII (diagnostic) port and control the Smarty Power-on-Demand tuning that was loaded into your trucks computer!

If I was going to recomend a tuner for that truck it would be a quadzilla adrenaline, wV2 if you want it tune on the fly but it is more expensive than either

I have the comp box. Mom runs the quadzilla. Dad and brother run SMARTY. Smarty makes truck look "cleaner" because you can unplug after tuning, cons is no pump tap. The quadzilla fuels harder than my comp does ( it seems so anyhow ) but my comp feels to have the same amount of power but egts stay under 1150, moms egts can hit 1200 on flat ground under 3/4 throttle. My vote is for comp. It is cheapest, has same power feel as other 3, shift on the fly, pulls harder on bottom end (in my opinion) and lastly the biggest thing in my mind A+++ customer service. All my opinions and experience.

there you have it I would definitely listen to the man that personally runs all 3:tu:

Thats good to have one person run all 3!!!

Is the insight a programmer, or just a monitering system? I have guages so i dont really need another set of them, but now sounds like i have even more choices.

So 53, your saying comp feels more powerful, and quad seems to fuel harder. What about the smarty? What does its piwer and everything feel like?

By the quad fueling harder, are you saying it makes more smoke? I dont want to have tons of it thrown out constantly like all the other kids in town.

If it smokes more than the other 2, i might stop considering it. :humm:

insight is just a monitor, although it allows smarty tuning to be changed on the fly, it is not a tuner itself

I have the quad in my truck, I like it a lot, on the mpg tune and tow tune I have almost no smoke, max hp tune a little, I also put in a set of rv275 injectors, made it smoke a little more but not binch. F2f75 probably best for power that I've noticed. Also if in cold area the quad has a high idle tune. Customer service is also good.

I also have the quadzilla adrenaline, if you buy from thoroughbred diesel they have the best price on them. they offer the most power and a ton of different tuning download options on their website. i dont get any smoke in economy mode. and my miles per gallon went up a lil bit.

Tyler@TWX 10-15-2012 06:31 PM

I will beat that price

Ltk 10-15-2012 07:33 PM

so you can beat the price of quad only, or smarty/edge too? :humm:

because i was debating thoroughbred since its an hour and a half from my house
