Default Fuel Pressure Gauge Question

I FINALLY installed an Isspro EV mechanical fuel pressure gauge and Big Line Kit. I got all of the air out of the isolator to gauge line. With only two years time on my Raptor lift pump, I show to only have 11psi at idle. WOT pressure drops to 8. Question is, do I have an incorrect reading at the gauge, or do I turn the pump pressure up? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

You have a VP 44 pump?
That's seems a little low to me.

factory calls for a minimun of 7 so you're probably ok, but I'd try to turn it up a bit so you're 10 wot and 14idle

Thank you! I will try that. Suppose I can trust my new gauge?

if it was a glowshift gauge I would say no. but a little more pressure will not hurt anything just keep it at 20 or below

Default fuel pressure gauge

Thanks! I have since turned the pressure up to 14 at idle. WOT pulls it down to 9psi. I read somewhere to beware of any drop of greater than 4psi. Is that a true statement and what else do I do about it anyway?

I have been having an issue with my overflow valve on my VP and my pressure is a little different everytime I drive. When the pressure is around 16-17 WOT the responsiveness seems to be a lot better than when it is 10-11 WOT. maybe its in my head tho
