Default Phat shaft

Planning on getting a new turbo soon. They all say that a downpipe is required. I already have a four inch exhaust installed. Will this do or is the bolt up pattern different from the stock turbo

You will need an HX40 style down pipe. They use a different flange size.

There are adapters to go from HX35 exh flange, to HX40 exh flange. I'm not sure of the price difference between the flange and a new down pipe. I would go with the new down pipe though. It doesn't make sense to me to go from a large port, to a small port, then back to a large pipe.
