All i can say is wow, i am newer to the cummins world and i was very impressed how the adrenaline woke this truck up. i just hope i can keep my foot out of it so don't break anything. now looking forward to an HX 40 or hybrid and some injectors. what do you guys suggest for injectors size and make and turbo upgrade?

a 62mm turbo, or a HX35/40, but not a HX40. The shafts are weak. 100 to 150 HP injectors are a nice size.

Did you have any other fueling box before the Quad Adren?

what kind of hybrid turbo should i get? i am modifying on a budget, so i want to know the biggest gain for not a lot of money . I read some were that farm boy diesels makes some nice injectors that do not break the bank but not a lot of reviews on them. i have never personally owned another programmer for the dodge. i have a diablo extreme power puck in my jeep liberty diesel but it does not pull hard at all. i have driven a friends cummins with an edge ez before.

The EZ is a small addition of power compared to what you are running.

There are kits to make a HX35 into a HX35/40. Some machining is necessary as well. Otherwise your looking at, or more, than $1000 for a decent turbo.

Diesel Dawgs has good prices on injectors. I'm running 150's from them, and they are working well. I also ran a set of 65's from them as well. Good injector again, but wanted to go bigger.

yeah i try to research and get the biggest and best that i can possibly afford, that way i wont regret buying something and then finding out i could have done way better. i would just get the 150 horse injectors but should i do turbo first? i have a friend that is an aerospace fabricator i bet he could help me modify my existing turbo but it sounds like a lot of work. i may have to save up for a while to get the turbo.

351 vgt turbo all the way i got the quad 100 hp sticks and a 150 airdog lift pump and i got tons of power! the 351 vgt is way faster spool then the stock turbo and if yoiu went bigger turbo you have even more of a turbo lag witch believe me... it sucks 351 will close down smaller than what yo got on your trucknow for fast spoll and open up much bigger then a hx40 for lots of boost at low heat. btw watch yor egts with the quad it cooks my truck with the old hx35

i paid 468 for the programmer through thoroughbred diesel. i didnt get the pv2 though just the pod, the truck pulls pretty hard. today a couple of guys were standing outside at the shop when i was leaving to go home and i put it on level 10 and got on it pretty hard, blew lots of black smoke but it pulls so hard you have to shift a lot quicker and i hit the rev limiter before i shifted from third to 4th gear. i better start saving for new clutch because I am having trouble keeping my foot out of it. even in level 3, which is were i keep it most of the time, i can dump some smoke and it pulls pretty hard even still. i am very impressed with the power difference. its like a totally different truck now. top boost pressure i have seen is 37-38 psi. just have to get the usb cord now so i can tweak the tunes. is there a specific tune that is pretty popular for our trucks?
