I talked to Geoff at Colt and he recommended .030 intake and .050-.060 exhaust as minimum clearances.

I clayed my pistons and came up with .047 intake, .063 exhaust, so I'm good to go.

I also welded a -10an bung into my oil pan for future twins drain.

I'm used to the gasser world, my 12v cam vs a sbf cam:

It's much easier to install the cam with the engine upside down

I tabbed my KDP finally:

I used plenty of ARP assembly lube and torqued to 125ft/lbs.

Now I'm cleaning it up and going to paint everything.

Still a lot more to do...

Ya that tork Tek tool worked well for my valve springs. Rob is a good guy. Your build looks good. Ive pretty much parked my sbc project and focused on my 12 valve as well.

I also took my trans into Anaheim Gear & Standard Transmission for a full rebuild with updated Mainshaft to fix the 5th gear nut. They said my 5th gear countershaft was also toast.

I ordered a clutch from Toxic Diesel as well.

Southbend DD 3250 with 1 3/8" Input shaft upgrade.

I found a deal and bought a billet 64mm wheel for my he431ve.

64/67 vgt here I come!

Now comes the questions:

1) I know fleece can install/machine it for me, but who else can?
2) what kind of hp can this support without getting over 1200*?
3) what fuel upgrades should I do?

5x.014 with comp dv's

Or

7x.012 with 181's

4) Can I keep the 5x.011 sac injectors I just bought and upgrade my dv's instead?

why are you worried about 1200* that is WAY low.
you are going to want more fuel thant the 5x11 can give you. 5x14's will prolly be your best bet.

Because I have no problems giving up a little hp for absolute reliability. I'm not looking for Mac effort, just a little fun.

But obviously this is hot rodding and stuff happens...

I've still been working a ton, so haven't touched her in a bit. 192 hours last 2 weeks.

I just bought a ton of hose & fittings, Parker Super-flex 1/2 biodiesel from vulcan, and a bunch of push-lok fittings.

My fuel system:

stock lines to Procomp Black pump, to Cim-Tek 2-micron Biodiesel filter, 5/8" aluminum line then 1/2" flex hose to factory lift pump, bypassing pre-filter/heater, then dual feeding my P-pump.

I want to run a sump in my tank, but dont have the funds at the moment, but setting it up so it'll be easy to add.

Story of my life, haven't worked much on it, but am still making some progress:

BDP sump, straight to a Procomp Black pusher pump, into a Cim-Tek 2 micron Biodiesel filter, to 5/8 hard line, then 1/2 parker Superflex Biodiesel rated push-lok hose, into lift pump straight to dual feed P7100.

I had a heck of a time finding the right fittings for the lift pump, and I had to make a spacer plate to delete the prefilter/heater.

I installed BigBlue24's 032 DV's, a new rear main seal, South Bend flywheel, finished painting the motor, and some other odds & ends.

I will be timing it before I put it in, was thinking I'd start at 20-22*. ????

I should have the turbo back from fleece soon and plan on installing the engine in the truck next week.
