I pu a dial indicator at harbor freight to see what size turbos exhaust housing I have. its in mm, on my hx35 it shows about 65.40mm not exact thats the inside of the exhaust housing bolting up the downpipe. now I thought stock was a 12cm right, and I read that to convert mm to cm you divide by 10 right? my hx40 exhaust housing shows about 81.83mm, so what are my sizes. can someone tell help me out with this pls.

Boy I really thought I would have got the answer by now. my guess is that you dont messure the size at the opening of the exhaust housing. and I would have to guess that the hx40 is either a 16cm or 18cm. and the hx35 is a 12cm.

 

Well I have to say thanks for all the help................. NOT. and I now know where not to go for questons. and I found out that on the stock holset hx 35 theres a stamp on the inside of the t3 manifold which is a #12 like I figured. and also on my hx40 there is one to, so I can put the dial calipers back away. 76 views and not even a not sure or what are you talking about.
