hey boys im lookin to replace our 01 duramax with a p pump 12v. the duramax has lots of miles and some head gasket issues so im thinkin i wanna try this swap. But i was wondering if anyone knows of motor mount kits and all the misc stuff or who sells it. i know puttin 12 valves in fords are pretty common but havent heard much about chevys. Any info would help!! Thanks

 

Im not sure about mounts, but i know if you want to run that allison still you'll need a stand alone controller for it. I know chevy bread vans with a 4bt would have a bell housiong that would fit but youll have a slightly cocked engine.

I know of a lot of 12 valve swaps into early 90's chevys but never into a newer model. i say go for it.

 

I agree, that would be a pretty cool swap! You dont see them too often
