Question Boost elbow and now low boost.?

I recently purchased and installed an adjustable boost elbow, and I honestly dont feel any kind of difference in boost, and if there is, I beleive its lower than it was with the stock fitting. Im not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that I had to snake the hose around to get onto the elbow, because the stock fitting on the AFC sticks straight out, and the aftermarket elbow makes a 90* turn, and it may be leaking or something. I tightened all my clamps down best I could, because the stock hose was just a "little" big for the elbow. Ive never messed with boost and all that goodness, so I wasnt sure if the elbow was supposed to make that big of a difference or not, but from what I understan it should and mine didnt, , so if someone with a little more experience could chime in and help me out, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The hole for the boost is MUCH smaller so you can build more boost. Not sure on exact measurements, but it's quite a bit smaller

try revving it up under the hood and see if you can feel air coming out where the pipe attaches on elbow. then find a coupler that will fit both sides
