Default Delivery Valves and Torque Conveter

I am in the market of looking into a good set of Delivery valves that fuel my injectors better and give me more power. But it is still a daily driver so I dont want to much heat. Also I need a new torque converter and need some opinions on what to get.

you have 181's now they are good for 800 HP why do you want bigger? next step will be 191's or .024's both give you MUCH more heat but also fuel harder. your DV's arnt really hurting your performance. do you have a good fuel system??? you would benifit much more from that than DV's.

Can't help u on the converter but u need some big delivery valves to get Ur money's worth out of those 5x.013's. I usually just turn my own to full cuts and tune the pump back to control smoke.
Anyone who thinks stock delivery valves are good for 800 is smoking some serious crack.

thats fixin to happen to this truck actually. Ive always stuck with the 12mm because I tow a lot of weight with this truck. Im buying a CR though here soon, then the 13mm pump is going in.
FWIW, holders and such make more diff than the actual DV itself. One particular 13mm pump truck lost 11hp by going from 181's to 191's and that was in the 800rwhp range.

No DV's, 181's work the best anyways. It has a set of custom EDM'd 370's (Joe Donnelly/Don Morrison injectors), I ground a plate, and it had a 34/40 hybrid turbo with a 14 housing at that time. And a 13" clutch.

This is supposed to be proof? How do u or the guy with the truck for that matter, know that the 181's he had weren't modified? 181's aren't big enough for stock injectors or a 12mm pump let alone a 13. Oh and 181's are not the smallest ones you'll find in a dodge application.

i spent a few hours standing at a test bench testing different DVs on the 13mm pump on our 2.6 truck. Modified 131s flowed the most more then even full cuts which IMO are pointless and in fact hurt performance because of the way they close. i tested 181 024 full cut and modified 131s the full cuts were 30cc less then the modified 131s and i did see around a 150cc difference from the 181s

So what happens with stock 131's ?
I've never had the pleasure of being able to bench my own pumps and I'm sure I'm missing a few critical points but why do full cuts make so much more power in an otherwise stock engine?

Again Turbo, skipping over the important stuff. That would be MODIFIED 131 to 181
