yes it will give you a bit more power but you will benifit much more by grinding a 100 or 0 profile.

So while I had it out I would be better off to just grind it down to a #0

or a 100, if you choose a 0 put it in the stock location. FF on a 0 is just like running without a plate.

just take the afc housing off all together and make a block off plate or even better make a turbo delete pipe if u want smoke, if u try to make it smoke u will kill your milage and performance and prob make some big ol' egt #'s. Why not just try adding power and eventually you'l get some smoke and have something to show for it rather then a gutless doggy truck that is good for nothing but wasting expensive diesel. Also you have no signature but i would do a bhaf w/ cat and muffler delete pipes an grind your plate to a 100 ff if u plan to tow or a 0 in stock location and buy a tork teck adjustable ofv and a cheapo ebay boost elbow, you will have more power and aome smoke for a pretty low price

as you can probably gather most of us hate those dare i say -retarded- questions. smoke is not power. bags over the turbo = smoke a would personally grind a 100 just because there is a little more tuning you can do with it.
