Fuel Cell Set-up Question
I am wanting to replace my factory fuel tank in my 96' Cummins with a fuel cell between the frame rails but behind the rear axle. I have found a few cells that could work for my application, but all the ones that I have found with good dimensions that will fit between the frame rails AND still give me good clearance, do not have a fuel sump. I will be adding an AirDog Fuel System. I also understand that with the factory tanks at least, it has been discussed that a fuel sump is a better way of pulling fuel for the engine.
My question is, with what I am wanting to do with a fuel cell, would drawing fuel from the top still be efficient and as good as a fuel sump on the fuel cell set-up?
And if any, what suggestions does anyone have for me?

I completely agree, I always fill up when my tank is down to a 1/4 full anyways. But just to be even safer, I would like to be able to still pull fuel under 1/4.
