Default rebuild now or not

47rh shifts great.... TC is slipping..... fluid is burnt from TC slipping... if i drain alll the fluid and flush all the old fluid out....fill it with fresh fluid and filter and install a Triple disk and a VB, would she be good for a little while till i have time to do the full build?

After a new Torque Converter and VB, the rebuild kit is not that much more, I would just go all the way through it.

when the TC starts to go the carnage goes straight through the tranny unfiltered. you may get lucky or you may get very unlucky...

well... i dropped my truck off at a buddys shop yesterday!. should be back mid next weekish, he is still getting his trans back together. i am going with a DTT TC, a DTT billet flex plate and a DTT shift kit. while the trans is out he is gonna flush it real good. and i will take my chances. i dont drive the truck much...maybe 100miles every few months. so hopefully it will hold out till after my wedding and we sign our new union contract at work and i will have the money to throw billet shafts and a master rebuild kit at it.
