bulb headlights on and off and fuel shut off

while im driving down the road with the headlights on for a while they will turn off for a few seconds and then back on then off and on and after a while they will stay on and then start doing it again. its only the headlights its not the parking lights, and it doesn't matter if there on high or low beam. is there a relay or something?

Also i got a fuel shutoff from a buddy and was working fine but when i put in my truck it doesnt pick up i have to get out and lift it and it will stay until i turn the truck off. my cus said to just replace the batterys but thats expensive is there something else i can check first?

I would guess its the switch itself, or the wiring. Thats typically the culprit in these trucks when they have headlight problems

well if it was a ground they would go on and off if i was on a bumpy road or any kinda of jaring they would flicker but they dont it dont matter if im going down road or sittin still. i did check a ground wire that was ground to the finder than ran to the driverside headlight but i didnt see one on the passenger.

its the light switch itself. the one you pull out to turn your lights on. this happened on my truck. its a $80 dollar part. super easy to install though.
