Star wheel adjustment with shop air
I'm trying to adjust the star wheel with shop air I set my in line regulated at 30 psi with free flowing air then I set the star wheel to almost full travel after that I lowered the regulated to 15 psi and I'm still getting full travel what am I doing wrong ?

I thought I read somewhere that you hook shop air up to it Set it to the desired psi that you want to make like I want to make 34 pounds of boost so I would hook up the air with 34 psi set on the regulater then adjust the star wheel until its fully forward with the air still hooked up to the afc

Not quite. There's a right up floating around somewhere. When using a larger turbo we use shop air to adjust afc preload to reduce smoke during spool up while maintaining quick spool. The air online assist you while trying to set for the psi the turbo generally lights.

No not after smoke just want the truck to get up and go the best it can so that's why I thought the shop air would be best because it would go full fuel with full boost without guessing that's all... What I'm trying to do is get it to go let's say from 0 to 60 the fastest way I can get it to go I'm really not even after the top end because I'm not up there that often just trying to get better low to mid range out of it that's all , I'm starting to think about putting a torque converter in it would that gve me better results .
