looking for a set of 90hp injectors looking at either ddp, or the sdx injectors which ones are better the truck just hit 205k but its paid off haha, time for some fun

 

I love my ddp4s no experience with sdx

 

dieselautopower has 370 (90 hp) injectors with the correct spray pattern for $300 with your cores. reputable dealer (jkidd), no reason to spend more.

 

ive never heard of dieselautopower before thanks for the tip ill look them up. the sdx were 450 for the 90hp injetors and on there website they said there .005x10=370's and are egual to 75hp inj. im not sure which factory rating there using i have the 98 with factory of 185hp right now. im looking at the .005x12

 

Look at a set of LBDP. I can get ya a set if your interested.

sdx most likely claims that 370s equal 5x.010s to help their business. make people think 370s are a smaller injector and that they need sdxs 5x.012s if they want 90 horse injectors. 370s are 5x.012s

49 state 160 hp - 5x9 .000318

49 state 175 hp 5x9 .000318

180 hp 5x9.5 .000354

160 hp cpl 1863, (actually a 180) 5x9.5 .000354

all calif trucks '96-98 were 180 hp = 5x9.5 .000354

215 hp - 5x10.25 .01025 .000412


300's and 330's same size - 4x12 = .000452

370's - 5x12 = .000565 155° spray pattern

435's - 5x014 = .000769 avail in both 155 and 145° spray pattern



ddp stg III (90 hp) = 50 LPM (liter per minute) 155° 5 hole extrude hone inj <5x12 270 bar

ddp stg IV (140 hp) = 66 lpm - 5 holes smaller than .0135 270 bar

ddp stg 4plus - no longer avail now considered comp waiver must be signed to obtain

ddp comp = 73-90 lpm depending on application same for pop

all four start out as 155° marine nozzles and are extrude honed
