I noticed all the oil around the turbo, the 6.0 by any chance have the pcv that goes though the turbo?

hmmmm. it does look pretty dirty. the camera shows more detail than what i could see yesterday, but it was getting kinda dark too.

If you want more turbo sound take a sawzall to exhaust and cut the muffler off, the whistle of a 6.0 is addicting.

2 flat head screw drivers , Stick one under the end of the ring that the point is on the outside of the grove pry up then slide the other on down the ring , pry up and there you go

thor racer, one end of the snap ring is angled forward, slopes away from prying like this : >/ , the other end slopes the other way :>\ that is the end you have a hacne atgetting under. good luck.

Just pry on it till it comes off thats all it did.... They puddy glued it into my 50mm holset that was on my truck... kinda a bitch to get out but its worth it.

i had to use a pair of needle nose plyers to pull up on the angled end enough to get the screw driver under it, then pried around the groove till it popped out, then cause it was so tight, i had to grab it with the plyers to get it out

I just took two flat heads and pryed them in there on oppsite sides and yee hawed that mo fo..... oh well my new turbo didnt come with silencer rings so i could care less
