What Next?
I've been reading around and seeing what all people have done to their trucks and what upgrades they used but now im gonna ask for yalls help. I would like to build my truck to about 450-500 hp, u can see what i have got done to it right now in my sig. I was thinking next I would go for some 4kGSK an 60lb valve springs. I was wondering what yall would do bout a bigger turbo, i was thinking super b special, an then what injectors and delivery valves and anything else i would need to do. Thanks for any help.

HTT turbos are a good option due to the upgradablity when your HP goals grow without having to buy new turbos. Customer support is also stellar in my experience.
Now...
1. what sticks are your 90hp's...who did you get them from. The reason I ask, is most 90ish etc sticks are capable of fueling for 600 if your tune is right.
2. put that plate back in and custom machine (or grind) a profile that suits YOUR engine. I can help you with that if you want details. Going plateless most often does not provide the best HP gains, not to mention the risk you place on the pump.
3. Your 160 pump likes ALOT of timing, and you're missing the boat big time on that one. You can handle 18* with no trouble and everything will improve. The usual power loss you experience down low from advanced timing will be a non-issue for you, especially with an upgraded turbo.
4. Running with no AFC (or a gutted one) is fine if you drive the engine and don't put the fire out mashing the loud pedal out of the hole.
5. A set of 181 or 191 DV's will wake the injectors up quite a bit and give you an increase in power your butt dyno will register.
6. Cutting your valve lash in half from .010/.020 down to .005/.010 will hang your valves open just a little longer for a little better airflow through the head. I have never experienced any drawbacks to this adjustment on the many trucks I've done it to, but do it at your own discretion.
7. a 3K or 4K kit will help you realize more of the horsepower potential you're going to un-tap by advancing the timing. Just watch your EGT's, as the higher the RPM you operate at under high loads, the higher the EGT will climb.
There's a start, but there's much more. That'll put you at a square 400 hp in the neighborhood of 800-900 lb/ft torque. I WILL promise you though, before I did all that, I would be proactive and invest at least a couple grand into trans upgrades or even a new unit from one of the big hitters. That first year 47RH will not handle the torque for long if you drive it like you have the power.

ON EDIT: Oops, missed the manual trans part....in that case plan for a clutch, you'll know when the time is right

Hey, thanks for all your help an suggestions. First off im going with a south bend clutch, double disk. Next i was wondering how you adjust the timing and know how much to adjust it and then how to adjust the valves? Also what kind of plate cut do you recomend, about a #0 straight cut? Im not sure where the injectors came from, they were in when i bought the truck but i think the guy said either TS performance or TST.
