Well I was just curious to how far u can push one. My dad 98.5 cummins with built trans 125 sticks and a adrenaline will push and has for the past 2 years been pushing 50 lbs of boost. Now I know any after like 38 to 40 is getting into hot useable air. was just trying to see what power numbers have been made with the stocker.

I'm pretty sure the 98.5 is 24 valve, different set up so different tolerance for hp. You can make impressive numbers with stockers but they'll be on the edge of exploding. Take it easy til you can afford a good charger cause it you blow yours now, you runa very big risk of blowing compressor shrapnel through the engine and blowing it.

Also, you might want to check the head on your dads rig, 50lbs is too much for a HX35, WAY TOO MUCH! Head'll lift up, compressor wheel'll fly off, blown valve springs... so much can go wrong with that much boost.

Blown valve springs? Oh my, never heard that one before. As far as the question goes there have been the few who have knocked in the mid to upper 400 region.
