ok i got some money burning a hole in my pocket for injectors, i just need some opinions. im looking at sdx 5x12 or 5x14s, mainly leaning towards the 14s so i got plenty of room to grow. i also have a buddy with a set of reworked 370s with low miles and have the correct spray pattern for 300, and i can get them like right now and have them in in no time. i do have guages, trany can handle it, all afc mods no plate but a stock charger. i plan on a bigger turbo down the road but could be a few months. would i be able to set my 100 plate pretty far back and be able to controll the 5x14s? im really tempted on the 370s too...what kind of seat of your pants power increase would i see between the 3? any input and opinions is great. thanks

 

 

i would think of ddp or ii.. sdx. hmmmm there costermer sevice is not very good. never pick phone cause the playing ps3!

 

i love my 5x.012 sdx sticks. and they were plenty nice to me. i dont plan on much more than 500HP thats why i stayed small, almost smokeless is my goal. 14's will get hot with a stock charger but will most likely be better down the road depending on what you want to do with the truck.

 

500 horse is about my goal too, just a fun street truck that i can occasionaly drag and pull with but still be reliable and still be able to tow with. how are the 12s with a stock charger? i dont want to look like some dumb kid shittin out smoke everywhere but it is fun to play with every now and then so i dont mind smoke if its controllable. could you feel a big difference in power?

with everything in my SIG it puffs a cloud if you mash on it an instantly clears. the turbo lights MUCH faster. my MPG have went up a slight bit and the truck runs out pretty well. im probably in the high 3's low 400's hp. your truck WILL smoke and WILL get hot with 14's but will leave the door more open for future mods. 12's are just safe and will do everything i need to do.

 

i had no problem with sdx customer service. they are awesome injectors. i swapped out the 191's for the stock dv's though... once i get a bigger charger and a billet trans i will reinstall them. and yes i noticed a nice change in power

and for a huge difference i would ditch the stock gsk for a 4k.... that was the biggest difference in power i have felt from everything i have done thus far

 

i knew there was somethin missing in my sig i do have 4k gsk and it woke it up like crazy, in fact kept me from trading for a nice duramax the next day.

turbo2332- that sounds like about what im looking for but i know im gonna want to get a bigger turbo soon, so maybe i will spend the extra money on the 5x14s and tune around them and put my plate back in way back. anyone have and experience with new era 435s? i know they are 5x14s also. they are a local company so that would be a big plus

 

You must not know to much... DDP is the last place I would go. The boys at SDX are good folk. They tend to stay a tad bit busy. You have to understand things arent perfect. I have their 5x.014's with gutted afc and no plate and they are very controllable. I can still get away with towing pretty decent and still leaving it like that as well. I would go with the 14's personally.

 

i think im gonna go with 14s, either sdx or new era 435s, i cant decide. new era is close to me and a little cheaper....anyone run their sticks?
