No it sound to me that you either dont have the right plunger lift setting and set it wrong or it slipped when you started it. The things your stating are dead give aways of retarded timing.

Re time it and make sure the pump shaft is good and clean prior to re-seating the gear.

Today was a success and got it right but it's got a rattle. Think it's cause I forgot to put a load on the gear. And it makes a rattle sound type noise to it. Gonna fix it tomorrow and hope that takes care of the. But other wise really impressed with power out put for stock dv's and injectors. Now I need a clutch for sure stocker doesn't take to kindly to the new found power

That rattle your most likely hearing is a slight timing rattle. Which will sound huge to someone who has never heard it or is going from stock timing is def. going to notice it.

Well it's really loud. U can hear it over top of my 5 to 8 inch exhaust. It goes away when it's up high and idling. But mid range it's loud

Is there anything I can do to make it quieter. Just noises on my truck make me paranoid. I know it's all right but its just something I hate

How far did you advance it? 1/2 turn on the damper is 8* give or take.

And yes, counterclockwise to advance.
