Are you putting it together yourself? I dont understand why you are ordering parts from all the different big names. Why not just order the pieces from 1 or 2 suppliers? It would seem much easier and customer service might be a tad better, especially when each supplier has the same or similiar hard parts.
As far as anymore parts or exact parts you choose, that kind of depends on what you want to do with your truck. What are your goals?
I built my own trans but I used all DTT parts

I'm building it myself and I was just trying to find the best deals and best parts looking at where I could compromise to save money and where its necessary to spend the extra dollar and I'm kind of picky and trying to find what's the best setup and yea mostly who has the best price/name like I heard hts makes one of the best vbs? I like how they tune there's to your exact aplication over the standard ones I believe suncoast sells but rebuild kits I trust suncoast the most flexplate dtts are sfi rated and 100bucks less than suncoast's and my converter is a goerend converter so I'd like to stick with them on that please correct if I'm wrong about anything and feel free to criticize or give advice, thanks

If you are putting together your own trans then you can put together your own valve body. When you order one from DTT you will get to customize your valvebody yourself. You tell them what you want to do with the truck and they will send you the appropriate kit and you can even further customize from there. You can build it however you want to and I am sure its a cheaper route. If you order everthing from DTT as a kit it is cheaper as well.

when you order like a suncoast vb dont they do more than just shift kits? i thought i read somewhere that they port out the "tunnels" so more oil can travel and that shift kits are only good for like 500 horse and you need to get a vb bought from one of the big companies or is that all bs? thanks
