right now the 165 would be an ok LP. im tossing more fuel at mine with out any problems with my 150 keeping up. that being said, chris at SDX told me on his truck, running 5x.018 injectors and there comp dvs, that he would loose to much pressure and truck would act up. so it realy depends how "extreme" u wanna work up to. if u plan on goin real big, an aeromotive LP is what you need to go with. if u wanna get around 500hp, a 165 willl handle it. good luck

Not to hijack the thread, but at what point do you need to start thinking about upgrading from the stock lift pump?

and for extreme i mean 700 for starters then working my way up once i get a new dd but would it hurt i guess im asking to have a 200gph on a truck that cant fuel that hard i realise all i need is a 150 or 165 but its not that much more id rather go big the first time and not have to buy a new one in 6 months or so if it wont be bad for anything now im guessing im around 500ish would a 200gph be too much? can any bad happen from throwing a 200 on her now?

if your up aroud 500 and wanting to go 700+ i would look at getting an aeromotive pump. they are a lil higher, butthey can handle the fuel needed. chris at sdx was sucking his 150 dry at 550-600. he put the aeromotive pump on it, and is over 700 with spray with no problem at all. they were putting a kit together to sale a couple months ago. might give them a call and talk to them bout it.

but yes, at the power u r at, i would go with the 200 if your dead set on an airdog
