Default marine injectors?

so a truck im lookin into buying is nice looking haven't been to start it yet but the guy is telling me it has a monster mack turbo and marine injectors. im not sure about either of those modifications so i figured id ask and see if anybody else has any helpfull info. the guy has no paper work to proove the marine injectors or turbo i assume the turbo will not look like the average holset turbo but will it sound rougher or meaner with the marine injectors? thanks ya'll

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i just need to know how to tell if it does or doesn't have aftermarket injectors honestly

only way to tell what injectors it has would be to pull it and send to an injector shop. u can guess a lil by how much it smokes, but if it has a bigger turbo, then that wouldnt help out much. so your back down to pulling one out and sending it in for testing.

with a bigger turbo you would need more fuel so it would make sense that he would have bigger injectors

One way to tell is if the pump has 181dvs and it seems like it has a miss or stutter in the lower rpms(This may be a very skeptical way to tell). Only other way is to pull a injector have it checked out. From my experience, I was running 370 marines with stock 181dvs and sounded like I had a small miss at idle and it would stutter between 1200 to about 1700 rpm. Installed the .022 dvs and she smoothed right up. But the only real right way to tell is to pull a injector and have it checked.
