i really doubt an inter cooler would stop me from doing a body lift, im sure its no big deal. you will probably just end up leaving the intercooler in place and lifting it 3" with the rest of the front end and then shorten the intercooler piping from the turbo to the intercooler and from the inter cooler to the intake elbow.
that being said, dont do a body lift. why not just do something a little more real deal, these trucks already have quite a bit of frame hanging down, especially around the 4 link brakcets.

if you want to lift your truck to mud DONT do a body lift they are entirely worthless the point to lifing your truck is to maximize ground clearence and you want to have suspension travel too. suspension lift and larger tires is they way to go that being said if your just doin it for looks body lifts for diesels are expensive and usualy come with everything that you need including extensions for lines and other ods and ends parts that can't stretch. a body lift for a diesel usualy runs double that of a suspension lift as far as i see and you get more from suspension so id deffinatly trash the body lift and go suspension

Just get a kit for a gas truck. make sure it's for the 2500 weight though. The tubed steel is strong enough to hold the extra engine weight and those are cheap and easy to do. But again, I wouldn't do it if it was for mudding. There aren't a lot of positives other than no cost to me and getting my tires free from the fender. I'm gonna have to build a new bumper for the hitch though because it's too high for camper trailers now, not to mention after i lift it 2"
