Remember to try and post in the right section. Motor wise i would be looking at a 4k kit but then you need to upgrade the valve springs. If you do a 3k they work with stock valve springs. If its a street truck which im assuming it is, you dont need delivery valves. Depending on what you plan on doing with the truck I would stick with a set of 5x.012 and if you plan on upgrading a turbo you could get away with some 5x.014 injectors. Might also do some looking into timing advancing.

Its either stock class or 2.6 that you are probably building for. Anymore 2.6 is not a street friendly class to build for and takes quite a bit to place at most big pulls.

If you are going for a work stock class, the 64/71 or 64/74 works well with 5x0.014"s as well as at least 18* of timing. But once you start making decent power you will need to upgrade all u-joints to a Spicer Non Greasable joint as they don't break as often as greasable and this is not a place to cheap out on.

IF you are going to stay with a HX35 for a while id go with a set of 5x0.012" injectors and up the timing to 16* of timing.

As far as the Valve springs, upgrade your keepers and retainers as well. If you don't and you see large amounts of boost as well as long periods over 3000 RPM you will start to pull keepers through the retainer, allowing the valves to not fully seat and make it more likely to slap a piston with the valves. We have had 2 12Vs pull the keepers 1/4-1/3 of the way int the retainers. 60#'s are not hte ucre for this a larger spring is needed in my opinion along with 10* locks.

If you are wanting to pull 2.6 we can talk more that route but you will need a deep pocket book to keep up.
