5k GSK
wondering how streetable a 5k GSK would be? Im in the process of building a new motor for my truck with pulling and daily driving in mind. Ive heard that your throttle peddle gets kinda touchy.
Anyone running this setup on the street?

every one i know that has 5k's say they are a pita to drive with a stick shift. an auto there a lil more manageable, but still real iffy on a DD truck imo
goin by whats in your sig, i think a 4k would be more than enough

Ive got the 4k springs in it already, i forgot to add that in my sig.
i was just looking to turn some higher rpms for sled pulling. would it be worth while to put the 5k springs in during the pulling season and go back to 4k's the rest of the year?

is everything u got done in your sig? if so, 5 k wont help you. you dont have enough fuel for 5k. my boss has 5x.018 sdx comp dvs and a 75mm turbo and the most rpm he pulled down the track was 4300 rpm.
im in the middle of building a new motor, and want to get my ducks in a row before i finish it. sounds like the 5k's might be more of a pain since this truck is mostly a daily driver. the motor is being put together to hold up to 5000 rpm... balanced, 110 valve springs, hd pushrods, fluid dampener, new rod bolts, titanium retainers and keepers, ect. i think ill stick with the 4k's for now.

ive heard you can get closer to 4200 rpm out of the 4k springs. i dont know if its just tightening them down a couple of clicks more or what? any ideas
