i can turn 4500 pretty easy in in neutral but under a load i have never turned it past 3700

no problem, i can hit 4000 in neutral and underload. but i have a manual so its not gonna shift on its own... being an auto it will probibly still shift at the same points it did before you put the 4gsk kit in. maybe someone else with an auto would know?

Mine keeps shifting at the stock shift points. Kinda hate it. But I have new springs for the vb, so hopefully those will fix it. Just gotta get them in. Had them for a year and haven't gotten around to it . I just shift manually if I need the rpms.

i didnt think of changing those vb springs, have some new ones laying around too some where, im gonna try and find them and try it out

Yeah, that way you can lose boost and strength at higher hp levels at the same time!

ya i like my auto, once you put the money into them and get them right they are better than the manuals, especially pulling the tractor in stop and go traffic, that clutch gets old fast

manual vb in a 47rh ..... best of both worlds and i love it... im running a 4k kit but will be playing with a 5k... i will let ya know how good or bad it is
