Default EGT probe-where do you guys

put the probe? ,i want to put the probe as close to the turbo as possible, the exhaust manifold looks favourite,is there a best place?
thinking im going to have to weld a threaded bush in there, but this will mean taking the manifold off and heating it prior to welding-or is there a spot to drill and tap ? what am i missing-
i tried the search,egt,EGT,probes takeoffs etc ?

what do you guys do?

thanks guys-picture worth-a million-

im glad i dont need to tear any parts off, this motor runs sweet, and if the manifold comes off,i,ll be tearing the head off too-i just cant help it-seem to get carried away with engines.

Just be sure to drill the back half of the manifold. If you drill the center you can hit the divider. And if you put it in the front, it won't read quite right because the front is usually a littler cooler than the rear.
