Default valair dual disc 1250$

alright been lookin around for a clutch to get prices on one. well i looked on valair again and found a dual disc for 1250 rated at 650hp with a 3800 pressure plate. comes with hd hydro's the flywheel all new everthing pretty much. its called a g56 dual disc but im wonderin is it just for a g56 or wat because i looked under 1993 to 2003 5 speed clutches then clicked on dual disc. so im wantin to know is it just for a 6 speed? is that everything i need? and anybody runnin this or think it will hold up after i get all the mods and the 64/71 put on?

The G56 clutch is for the G56 6spd. You need the Dual Disc for the NV5600.

You need the bigger input. Their website has some discrepencies. LOL. I have their Billet dual disc (Same as your lookin at, but with billet flywheel and floater plates) and put the same clutch you're looking at in a customers 05. To be honest, I don't think there's much of a difference between a NV4500, NV5600, and G56 clutch/flywheel. It's the other stuff (hydros and starter spacer for the NV4500) that's different betwixt them. Oh, and throwout fork too.

I will throw it out there that I'm a dealer for Valair, so my opinion may be weighted, but I really like my clutch, I'm pretty rough on it and so far so good. My customer with the 05 is a farmer, so pretty rough on stuff too. BUT, on the flip-flop, my 12 valve powered Oliver tractor conversion has a south bend in it. Both companies have good products. In fact, in my 5 speed, I have a south bend input shaft because their shaft was cheaper than Valair's at the time.

That's my $.02..... And for those who may think otherwise, I'm not trying to sell or anything on here, just trying to let the guy know that my opinion of the clutch may be weighted somewhat. Don't wanny create ripples here.

It'll hold for yah! Mine has prolly, 8k miles on it, towing and such, plus some fairly hard play time.

Works good! If you plan to pull or such, I'd suggest the Billet flywheel. You don't want to frag a flywheel and part with your feet!
