turbo silencer ?

Default turbo silencer ?
does taking the turbo silencer off do anything or does it just make noise. im not interested is pointless noise.

I took mine out and I really dont think it makes a difference But I puta stage two s&b intake on it and it makes a pretty loud whistling noise.

just opens up the turbo whistle...especially if you have a aftermarket intake.

did it adversely affect air flow. it seems like it helps direct the air when it is in

Just makes a really loud noise especially with an intake it has no affect on performance whatsoever

It was put on by the manufacturer to keep noise levels down. Take it off and put on a bhaf and listen to the Orchestra of Cummins; D-minor.
