could the gov. spring install not be correct so it is not fueling right. like maybe they did not get all the shims out or the springs are not tight enough. just a thought

Well if it had idle shims and took those out it wouldn idle but it should still run good.

When I first installed my 3k gov's I removed the idle shims and my truck would idle but idle adjust ability on my truck was very touchy. With that said I put the idle shims back in and the ability to adjust the idle was a whole lot better. I have since installed an extra .020 idle shim and this took away a bucking situation while towing. I had to adjust the idle after installing my gov springs

Were the injectors installed at the same time the tweaked pump was installed?

when u put the injectors in, did u put the pump from bd on at the same time? the way u describe it i dont think it has to do with the injectors, but more from the pump.
