Default how much power

hey guys not trying to beat a dead horse here but i dont understand i broke another input shaft 5th gear not loaded or spining i didnt think my truck had that kind of power anybody have any ideas of how much horsepower and or torque im makeing

Nothin earth shattering... My guess is 320 and 700ish but I'm guessing you still have the small stock input? DD are hard on the small one regaudless of power from the rotating mass and extra weight and engaging force

yep its gotta be the stock input, cuz i have a south bend dd 3250 plate load. i also have no plate, 90 horse injectors, n a 4k gsk n its holdin fine. its really easy to switch input shafts, but ur gonna have to get a new clutch, unless they can switch the hub. but for what ur payin for a new input shafts, it'd be worth it

i guess what ur sayin is i need a bigger shaft or a smaller foot

pretty much haha. my vote is for the input shaft, cuz whats the point in havin all that power if ya cant use it

As per your signature, 40psi on a stock hx35 WILL SNAP SHAFTS. Take it from me.

my turbo is a hx35 with the silencer ring out i havent done anything for boost. would i see a power difference if i can push 35 psi

Ummm yes? Trick question? I thought you knew these trucks, judging by past threads? Yes upping your boost/fuel will make a huge improvement.
