Is it something I can do on my day off?

 

I was completely green doing mine just read up as much as I could and read the instructions a couple time b4 I dove in. I took my dear sweet time while helping my bud at his shop and had it done in alil over an hour. So yes

 

i just did mine.. i was scared.. almost took it to a shop... but decided to try.. it is SUPER EASY!

 

Ok cause I can't seem to find a diesel shop here in Pensacola

I also just don't want screw something up and then be out of a truck for a while

 

its really easy.

 

well you can screw up but if you take your time and read the directions really good its easy, i had a buddy who thinks he knows everything about diesels and he tried to rush thro doing a set for a friend and didnt put the reataines back right (so they were too tall) and when they started the truck it got caught up in the housing and snapped the pump shaft,

im not trying to scare u into taking it too a shop just make sure you read up on it and dont rush and you will be fine
