Default Build Advice

Ok i have the truck in my signature and im planning on doing a little more buildin. Im looking at some studs, injectors, and a different charger. So here is my question what do you guys suggest for someone who just drives their truck, tows from time to time and when i do it can be a little on the heavy side, for example just a 36ft trailer and some hay to a couple tractors nothing outrageous. Im wanting to stay with a single charger and i understand that with a single its not going to come alive right out of the box. I can deal with a little lag. Im just looking at getting a little somethin extra no huge numbers or anything like that. Feel free to ask questions and thanks in advance for the help.

imo opinion 370 or 435 injectors with 145 spray angle not marines. im not goin to do studs till i get twins and get my head built. thats your call. and id get differennt delivery valves to flow some more fuel. on the turbo side something with a 4 inch downpipe. u can do a hx35/hybrid. or a hx40 with a 7 blade compressor wheel. a s300g or s366 s364 the list goes on.but for pullin with injectors and a bigger turbo idk how long that clutch will last. but 435 new era's injectors and a super b turbo or s366 and bigger delivery valves u should see u good horsepower numbers and reasonable egts. thats my opinion sorry if im wrong ha ha

Well im thinking about some like 5x.012's or something along those lines from smokem for injectors. Turbo wise i have a friend who has kinda got out of the playing and has a super b that he has offered to me at a decent price. Im just not sure if that would be a decent running setup. As for the Delivery valves thats on the list but im kinda putting those on the back burner. The clutch... Im trying to make up my mind and doing a little more thinking on it. The one that is in it now is the baby southbend and it was new in august, however it has started to be very jerky... Thanks for the opinion

BRE, since ur in south west mo, on injectors id get ahold of SDX in fayeteville ar for your injectors, they will be the closest injector builder to u and will give ya some good service. id go with some 5x.012 injectors and for the turbo, id go with a 62/65 turbo. will have decent spool up for pulling. will have more lag than the stock one, but wont be as bad as a bigger charger

Biged, Sorry about that... Im actually located in Indianapolis, In right now for school. I did not know that is where SDX was located though. Learn somethin new everyday. Can someone refresh my memory on the numbers of turbo science? I get confused.

62/65/14

the first number, 62, is the size of the intake wheel.

the second number, 65, is the size of the exhaust wheel.

the third number, 14, is the size of the exhaust housing.
