Default Isspro gauges question

Ok so I'm planning on getting thr ev2 gauges and I keep seeing on the website it change from white back face with green illumination to the night view that changes to black with green letter illumination is this right? It's white during the day the whole back part then it changes to black?

well on the ISSPRO gauges, only the numbers/lines and pointer are illuminated. so if the face is white in the daytime, it won't be at night and will appear blackish. its not actually turning black, it's just not lit up.

oh and btw, I know which picture you're talking about, and no, it doesn't actually get that dark. the letter and pointer still illuminate the face enough to be able to tell its white. I have the white face/blue pointer and numbers.

So far so good I've only had them installed for a couple days now, but they haven't missed a beat yet.

I really like how it's just the numbers and pointers that light up on the ISSPRO's. One of my buddies has a set of autometers with greed LED's, they just light up the whole face of the gauge and the numbers are blacked out.

Even with the resistors he installed to make them less bright, they still blind you at night and light up the whole inside of the truck when you look in from the outside

Don't get me wrong I like the way his autometers look, it is just horrible when driving at night.
